Urgent query on UK visa....Help required

Hi friends, Plz think on the following query and plz let me know ur reply: Suppose a person who has got work permit for UK has been selected by an Univ for Post graduation .He leaves his job.Suppose his Student visa under tier IV is delayed for one month.What shall be effect on his immigration status ? Will he be staying illegally at UK ?

If you applied for a new visa before the old one ran out, then I presume that the new one will be dated from when you actually applied. However, you should address queries like this to the relevant UK department, they are the one's who are qualified to give you correct information and not anyone on here, unless they happen to work for the Immigration Department that is.

As I understand it, if your visa has expired you are staying in the UK illegally, unless you made an application for a new visa before it expired and that application has not been answered, in which case your status remains as the last visa until it is answered.
