Do we ever really take the time to do oehter of these things in our relationships? Most of us know the importance of communication. But there are a few that do no get it. Communication is a key part to any good relationship. Any of us should be able to express our thoughts, feelings along with emotions in a good relationship. This would make our lives so to say, run much smoother. For me as an example, I can talk to my partner abour anything from A to Z without her getting up in arms. No matter what the subject is about. Past, present of future. Unlike other relationships, I have had, this was not the case. Which in turn causes us to hold back, building up emotions that could have been worked out from the minute the conflict occurred. It is so much easier from my point to view to handle the issue before it becomes major problems in the relationship. In doing so both parties can ba able to know what is going on in the other mind. Although it might seem to be a simple matter to you, your partner might see it as a major catastophe. So by looking at the situation from both sides, there could be common ground that would make both parties happy. Hence a good relationship.
So when you go home tonight to your loved ones. Take a minute out of your day to see how they are feeling or just say anything nice or just stop, look and listen. To come to know who they are, to be able bring more unto your loved ones. A minute is not a very long time for the ones you love. It can make a tremendous difference. Trust me. Try It. Open up with your mate, kids, or anyone you love. See how relationships could be changed. Most important to remember, do not judge, argue or get angry with what you hear. Take it in, roll in around and communicate your thoughts.

Or even just LISTEN. Do not hear the words, listen for the meaning. When someone takes the time to talk to you, show respect, and block out everything else, focusing 100% on what they have to say. Just listening, truly listening can improve any relationship 1000% or better. Cheers.

Thank you for being the first one to respond to my discussion abour stop, look and listen particularly in a relationship. By listening, we have to show that we are interested in what people say to show respect and you are indeed correct. We must always treasure any simple things that we have with our partner. We have to appreciate them for being good to us.
Keep posting. Happy mylotting. Have a nice day.
