I think everyone need to say nice things to themselves occassionally. Most of the time, we are our own worst judges and we must strive to accept and love ourselves. I try to say something nice to myself everyday, no matter how small this thing might be. Even if it's just "You brushed your teeth really thoroughly today. That's good.", it really makes me feel better.
Therefore I now ask you to write down something nice about yourself. I guess I'll go first.
"Dear Astraea, everyone you know say that you are a great artist and I agree. You've been practicing so hard for these past years and that work has really paid of. I am glad that you're sharing your creative gift with the world. Don't ever let anyone push you down. You are a great person."
Now it's your turn!

So true. In my case, no one needs to criticize me, I's already spent a whole lot of time beating myself up for all of the things that I do. I love your idea so here goes mine. Lauren, You were born with a natural talent for fiction writing and I'm proud that you instilled yourself with the disciple to finish your first mystery novel this year. You had the perseverance and courage to go after your dreams and to live your passions. You are truly an inspiration.

Hi Astraea, so often in life we set high expectations for ourselves and as soon as we achieve one goal we move on the the next. I too think that it is important to remember and aknowledge all the qualities we like about ourselves. Every few months I write down a list or brainstorm of all things I love about myself. After writing the lists its nice to see a whole page of positive things and makes me feel great about myself.
''Dear Tabatha I admire your courage and bravery to forge your own path in life. Lately you have taken so many actions which have brought you that much closer to your dreams. I know you can succeed, one step at a time.''
