My mom says I should cleanse my pores with pure olive oil and then rinse with salt water and very mild soap, what do you guys think?

I'm not so sure about salt water as salt usually dries skin. Remember when you go for a dip at the beach, doesn't salt water take out the moisture in your skin? As for pure olive oil, it depends, if you have problems with having oily skin, I don't think putting more oil in your skin would be a great idea. Anyhow, I for one am not good with testing things for myself, I'm afraid it would make my face worst. I will always have to rely on professionals for something I'd put on my face. You can hide everything else, but you can never hide your face. Good luck!

I have never heard of using olive oil. If you have oily skin it may actually make it worst. I use an all natural face wash to clean my face and it works great.

olive oil doesn't actually penetrate your skin,it can't I know it will not make my skin oily I am just not sure how effective it would be.

i heard about this but I never tried it. You may try it as long as it must be suitable for you. What i use is any facial cleanser that has guava content, it really makes me to lessen my pores. Or you can try to use coconut oil which is the best multi-cleanser. Try it.

i don't know if its a good cleanser. but its very good for your skin. its a very good anti-aging agent. its has antioxidant which is great for your pores. i did my research on it a few months ago, and based on that i say everyone should apply a thick layer of it on their skin for a few minutes a week the least, to improve skin condition.

An olive oil massage also keeps your skin looking young and plump. But, use your commen sense. Does your Mom have good skin? Do you want your skin to look like her's when you are older?
