Hello,My husband just got stunk from Wasp and this is his first time. His hand is Swelling, not that big but it is just big that you can see. Does anyone here know how to treat this stunk? I need your respond fast. I asked him to go to the hospital too but he rejected... so now I need some home remedy that can help him out. I also gave him some Tylenol and some ice as well... If anyone doesn't know what Wasp look like, I also attach the picture as well... thank you!!!

Yup....a copper USD penny. I don't know why but something about the copper is supposed to help. Actually, I did try it out on one of my children's friends because she got stung by a bee and it helped. But, everyone needs a skeptic so here ya go http://www.snopes.com/medical/homecure/beesting.asp Glad to hear he's better. *Pleiades

put a little bleach on it. that will take the sting right out of it. I have no idea why it works, but it does.

Yes, I did and it works tho... it helps reduce the pain but swelling is still on. I used Ice for a while now and hope it helps... thx, now my next problem is to remove them cuz I afraid my kids might play in the area cuz their net is just right in my back yard.

that actually looks like a yellow jacket in that picture you posted, but no worries. A little bleach like you use for the laundry will take the pain away. Just tell him to put a little on his finger and rub it on there.

Take a look at this page: http://www.emedicinehealth.com/bee_and_wasp_stings/page7_em.htm He can take Benadryl for the itching, but I would first call a pharmacist to ask them if it's okay to take it after he had Tylenol. It shouldn't cost you anything to ask them.

if he is having problems breathing take him to the emergency room. If he dipps tabacco then have him put some that has been in his mouth on the sting. Gross but it works.

As long as he is not having an allergic reaction I would not worry too much, the ice is the next best thing, or atleast it is what mom always used. btw it is chewing tabacco that takes the sting out, but it is still gross :)
