Have you ever felt like 24 hours a day is no little time...
I wake up at 5am to prepare for breakfast and my son's packed lunch, wake him up at 6am to get ready for school, bring him to school, work the whole day, do the groceries on weekends, pay bills, check emails, so many things to do --- so little time.
I always want to sleep early, but things can't get done!!

24 hours is more than enough, for the disciplined and methodical. For those who are not prompt or punctual even 48 hours may not suffice. It is all about time management.. nice topic thx

Yes, I always feel that way. There are just too many things to do in the span of the few hours that we are awake, well at least in my case. I have 4 children and I never seem to have enough time in the day to cook the food, shop for the groceries, bathe the kids, do the laundry, clean the house, and then everything else, like work too. As if that is not work.
And unfortunately I seem to cut back on my sleep in order to fit everything into the day. And then I also have to try to fit in time for myLot too!!
Have a great day and happy myLotting!!!

Honestly No ... because there is so much to do that I can't seem to find time to squeeze it all in one day. When I wake up I usually do the usual cleaning up myself and then help prepare for breakfast or lunch. Then when necessary I'd do the laundry and hang the clothes up. After that I'd see if the laptop is free to use then I'd squeeze in everything (reading emails, friendster, facebook, myspace) and if no one is lined up to use it (This is because I share the laptop with 2 other people! or more if the cousins are in the house..) I'd spend some time here on mylot like now .. I'm a freelance webdesigner so you see it's hard to find time to use the laptop all to myself. Then of course there's dinner that I help with and some housework or other errands that need to be done.

That's life, honey. Don't you ever take time out for yourself? Try to let something go for a bit. It will still be there tomorrow and whose it going to hurt if you don't wash the dishes one day. Or hang out the laundry the next. I used to feel like that then one day I woke up. There is more to life than fussing over every small detail. Go have some fun. Wake up later. Do something else is what I'm saying.
Emjoy yourself. Sounds like you need a little R & R.

Sometimes it doesn't feel like it should be enough. Sometimes you just wish that you magically make a day or two appear in between so that way you can rest. I know the feeling. I'm on the verge of having to find a job and don't know that I'll be able to because I'm running out of time with my WPC and DHS. If I don't have a job by next week. I have to do a community service thing at Goodwill to get the hours in. Not one of my favorite things to do. I can never get my hours in because I get sick everytime I go to work there. I have bad allergies and end up at the doctor every time I go to work there.

I feel if we manage our time properly then 24 hours is really sufficient.obviously there are certain things which you have to do everyday but there are also other things which if you plan properly in the entire week then i feel one can manage the things properly.also even if we would have got more than this hours,we would have done the same complaints,so if we cant change something then lets take it positively and try to use our time in more proper way, time management is finally upto us...

Absolutely diptee, if we would have got more number of hrs in a day, we'd simply complain then too saying they too won't be sufficient. I guess i repeated your response didn't I ?
Well, I too shared your opinion so just decided to add a comment to yours...
Have a wonderful day...

For me 24 hours a day is just enough, but sometimes when i feel I am a working hard, I can make the night becomes a day, still working. What i feel is time goes by very fast when I am having fun. I love weekends, but I hate it when its already Sunday night and I have to sleep early because I have work tomorrow. When I am with my friends and we are having found, I want to wish that day becomes 36 hours so that we can stay longer.

I completely agree with you, 24 hours is definitely not enough time in the day to get the stuff that you really want to get done. I wish there was maybe 30 hours in a day, I think that would help out a lot of people.

Haha, I'm thinking 40 hours might be TOO long of a day...I wouldn't want to have a day last that long.

Nobody can go against the nature as time can't be moved back. When life makes you busy then 24 hours in one day seems so less. This is nature and human kind from the first day have beeing facing such problems. Pre-historic humans used to have aged in hundreds of years but now the average age of humans is 60 years. In my opinion, we have accept the truth of nature and live accordingly.

I get exhausted and the days get to long. I don't know, I don't really want to have such a pack day without any relaxing. I would hope one day hard work should pay off and you can just relax and sleep on the normal time.
But I do occassionally hope for longer days when I'm on vacation which would help a lot because of all those great fun "not working" times.
God bless

Sometime I think it is not enough when I really need more time for my work or for something else like when you are enjoying doing something, then you might be asking for longer period and hoping that the day is neverending. This is true to those lovers who just met and they really wanted to spend more time together since they are in the process of really wanting to be with each other all the time.
On the other hand, when you have problems, you really want a day to pass to forget everything like nothing happens. So I think, it all depends in the situation you are in. But for now, I am satisfied to twenty four hours a day, or else, my work will me more than eight hours a day and I will feel really very tired back home.
Keep posting. Have mylotting. Have a nice day.
Best regards,
Jeff

Sometimes I feel the same way.
24 hours is not too short, but not too long either.
Somehow, God arrange it, and I think it is the best for us according to God.

I too feel the same way. I need atleat 6 hours in Mylotting. Then only I am satisfied.LOL.. But have only less time to schedule and finish all my tasks. 10 hours gone in office and 8 hours gone in sleep. Remaining 6 hours or less to carry out the pending works. 24 hours is less for me. Cheers. Happy Mylotting.

Yes,sometimes the feeling of time off soon, but sometimes he had been very slwo, when you do things when the time is too soon, when you no time to do is have a very slwo, so that their busy it is not a bad thing. There are not too much sleep, and that of poor health, sleep eight hours a day is enough.

For me 24 hours is more than enough. My policy is, if we cannot change a particular thing I welcome and accept that.. so, I cannot change 24 a day to 25 or 30 hours a day.. so, I welcome the 24 hours and I plan accordingly..

Well, a good question. For me, if that day I feel happy and interesting then I might get the piont that 24 hours a is not enough. But if that day makes me puzzy or feel bad than I wanna begin a new day earlier.

yeah i sort of agree with you. but it isnt always like this for me. you see, whenever i am having a good time, time goes by like a freaking bullet, but when im at work and im having the worst day ever, every second goes by like an hour. so, for me it depends.
but over all, when you look at the past, you see how fast your life has gone by, thats the amazing thing to me.

I can NEVER get things done in the measly 24 hours that we've been given in a day. I mean, I sleep like a bear so automatically 8-10 hours are gone per day, then for the rest of the time I am sitting here watching my computer load pages because dial up is way too slow for me... so I need way more time in a day.
