Feel Good to Sell Old Items or ?

I always try to dispose off the items which are either no more in use or to have new one. Sometimes I give to the deserving ones, depending upon the nature of item or just sell out if feel good to buy other item alike by adding some extra money. But I know many of the people who prefer to retain old item due to many self created reasons, not appealing me. What do you do? Do you feel good to do so or?
