Hi there mylotters!
So i have been thinking how much money do you spend in a day?
Do you think your a money-saver or a money-waster?
Would you want to CHANGE that attitude from you or are you happy about it?
Do you have ISSUES regarding money like debts or debtors or do you experience shortage?
What do you do to earn money?
I am currently at home and i don't have money to spend.
Could you share your daily expenses? thanks a bunch!

I guess i do spend a lot of money..compared to my sister who keeps banking in. she's a saving-holic i tell you. lol. I only buy stuff that i really need, even when buying it i think if i do need it. i don't mind putting it down if i don't really need it. i have like this voice inside me, that tells me i'm young, and i don't have any responsibility right now, i should enjoy myself.. yes it could be the devil talking..

ha ha! Debts can be very dangerous. Because we have this attitude that once we borrowed money, we act like it's ours and it's really hard to pay for it.

You're like my eldest sister. She keeps spending and spending and have a pretty huge debt to my parents, i hope you could control the devil speaking to you soon. But it's not bad to enjoy yourself, by the way, you earned it so you have the right to do what you want. Just don't let "the devil" overpower you.

Hi koalapenguin^^,, I'm a money planner,,,, everytime I have money I will make a plan. I will divide it into two, save half part to the bank and I'll spend half part according to my plan. I like this attitude, it makes me easy to control my money.. I usually evaluate my plan the result at the end of the month.. I'm still a student so I get pocket money and I'll withdraw money from my paypal account as soon as I get 18 this Noevember[em]happy[/em Thanks..

Wow, you are very disciplined when it comes to saving money chrysant. We wish to have the same attitude as yours. Back in my college years, i was known to be stingy because i don't have that enough money to buy what i want. So here i am, looking for a job. I hope to earn i lot so that the stingy title will become generous.

I think I am a money waster but i am saving money in the best way I can coz i am not rich. I had experience shortage before but thanks God, I was able to overcame it. I think I spend around 1 dollar a day for food, water, etc. I don't want to have a debt. I have none. We should spend money wisely.

i think i am a good money-saver, but i will not economy if there is something "should splurge out" , like the fee of some healthy actions, or to cheer with my friends , sometime a splurge for yourselft since a great progress made is properly reasonable. And one sentence i saw is the good endwords: It is better to live rich than die rich.

Hi there!
Money is important for us to survive. I spend money, as per my needs and essential requirements and I do not feel like spending money on luxury items or do not indulge in wasteful expenditure, such as going for dinner or lunch at some expensive restaurants. I spend money on clothes and I buy as much clothes, as much are required.

So you spend money wisely, good job dpk! Though do you think it's kind of hard to not buy luxurious items if you have the money?

I am spending not more than what I am earning or else I will have a big problem. We need to spend wisely, just buy those what we need. If we will spend more than what we have will will have a problem of money shortage, we will think of lending money so its not good. So we need to budget our money what we earn we spend it in a nice way.
Even though we are at home we are still spending money for our daily necessity, so we will think of another way of how we can earn money even though we are at home.

Hi there . May be there isn't money physically in your pocket. But definitely there money waiting for you.Believe me its TRUE !
For me I am not a typically a spender ,What I prefer to call myself is an investor( I invest more than I spend). The reason is If I purchase ,the value will depreciate. But if invested time and money it can surely result more of itself.
Happy mylotting

I am not a lavish spender and I spend at an average of $4 a day. As i stay at home, most of my needs are being taken care by my parents and hence i do not have that much necessity to spend and i just spend to take care of my needs and for that $4 a day is more than a sufficient amount for me. During working days, it will be hardly around $1.5 or 2 a day I'll be spending. Only in the weekends I'll be spending around $10 a day and apart from that I do not have much to spend. Have a great day and happy mylotting. Thanks a million for starting this discussion. Cheers:-)

That's good for you and keep up the good work. It's good to hear that you are not a spoiled brat. Going to college is really expensive. In our university, the biggest amount of tuition fee fall for about $2000 per semester. Better concentrate your studies and make your momma proud. Good luck!

I am an abusmal money saver, I cant spend much money on anything, or it becomes really stressing. I always try to find the cheapest choice out of products and think twice if I even need that. It's hard to live with that complexion, you have to think about money more and then you lose more time on buying things. Good news here is that I have always enough money and there has gotten some extra to the bank. If I keep living like this, after 10 years I have saved about 15 000 euros extra (and I haven't even calculated possible promotions and took off rent 400 euros).
I hope I will make millions this way once, wish me luck.

Good luck! Euros are pretty big amount when converted to our currency. 1 euro is equivalent to 68 pesos. So if your saving, which is 15000 in amount will be converted to euros. You will have a million pesos already. Your pretty rich here darling.

I am quite an spendrift, I like to buy new things and when I have the money in hand I won't be thinking twice as I like doing shopping but if I stay at home the whole month then I might save my money as will not go elsewhere so I will not be able to see shopping malls. And my money will be saved. I hope to be someone who can save my money though.

I think we feel the same. It's like an impulse to buy what you want and it's completely irresistible.
