How do you earn money?

Hi, I am new to mylot and just wondered how others make a little extra money? I dont want to be a millionaire but would like to be able to make enough each month to take my kids out for a day trip. We run our own business and have found the last few months have been really tight and as I have two small children at home I cannot go out to earn an extra wage. I have tried the PTC sites but feel you dont get any return for the amount of work you do. I am registered with some survey sites but when I answer the surveys it says at the end that I did not qualify for the full survey but thanks for participating - they have got my info and not had to pay me! I am also registered on a short sory writing site but I completed the jobs yesterday and they haven't updated the list to start any more and I haven't made the minimum payment yet. i also enjoy playing poker but want to play for free and win for real - is this too much to ask? I just want to be able to take my kids for days out during the summer holidays without worrying how much it will cost. Any advice?
