would you rather own your home or rent an apartment

I know that we would love to own our own home one day but is there really enough space and enough homes for everyone to live in a house all to themselves. but would you rather buy a home and pay morgage or would you pay rent and have a million neighbors?

I would rather have my own home, no matter how small it is. apartments are compact and have many pre-constructed facilities which we cant even envisage while building our homes ourselves...even then, its always better to stay in own house just because you are the master of all you survey. There’s nobody to complain about anything you do, you have both your complete freedom and privacy. Regarding mortgage, well even if you are staying in a rented apartment, you still have to pay rent, so why not pay the mortgage and have your own place.
