...or do borrow at all? (perhaps you have tons of it) but times do get tough, and we end up borrowing money from family or friend... does that happen to you always?

i try not to borrow money from someone whether from friend or family members. But, sometimes no choice i still need to borrow some, not because i do not have sufficient money, is just because i forgot to bring wallet or maybe that time i do not have enough money in my pocket. Normally i will return the money in the same day.

Before, if I had no money, I would ask from my brothers, sisters and even my folks. They don't expect me to pay it back though since we're family. If I borrowed money from friends, I would surely pay it back since I don't like to lose their trust in me. I would also like to expect the same when they too would borrow money from me which I am fortunate to experience with some of my classmates when I was still in college. They would promptly give the money back whenever they could pay me back. I would even get surprised since I wouldn't remember lending them money at all

Sometimes it is and sometimes it isn't. It really depends on the situation and what the situation wants for it to resolve itself.. (-_-")

I prefer not to borrow money from anybody. Not even my friends. Borrowing money is considered bad in my family. We prefer to stay hungry than to borrow money from others. Borrowing money makes us answerable to someone and makes us loose our self respect sometimes. that is why i prefer being debtfree.

I used to borrow money from my dad when it was absolutely necessary. Don't think I ever paid him back though... Try not to go that way anymore. Never borrowed from friends. I've done the cash loans too but no more! Thats a hard cycle to break free from. Now I make sure that I have enough money for rent, bills, and food. Once in a blue moon we'll take the kids to like Wendys or rent a movie from redbox but extra money usually gets saved for a rainy day.

Hmmmm, I don't borrow from friends outright, like I would never go up to a friend and tell her i need to borrow money. We do sometimes borrow from each other, like when we go watch a movie and she would pay for the movie while I get snacks, and then I don't have change to pay her, so I pay her next week. Only stuff like that. I do borrow from my siblings though, but I guess it's different when it's from family.

Nah, I don't borrow too much, I just make it happen! People think I have money so they always ask me, cause I never ask and seem to make it work! So everyone thinks I have something, wrong, I have bills... Occasionally I may have to ask, but best believe it gets paid back pronto!! Taripre$

Yeah, I try! I just hate asking and then owing; people tend to let u know when u owe them something, and I don't have time for that to be hanging over my head!! Taripre$

Only with my best friend/room mate. But it's mutual. If she's ever short on cash, I'll pay, and then take that amount out of the rent or next time I'm short. A couple of my friends do the same, actually. It's nice, like shouting them without feeling like you're burning much needed cash to live.

I don't like borrowing money from people. I'll ask my parents for the money if I really need it. Or I will ask my partner. It is very difficult to promise a friend when you have money problems at the moment. You just don't want to lose a friendship especially over money. Losing it over money is the worst way and it is very hard to fix after that. Money is the root of all evil. Especially when it comes to lend or borrowing money with correlation to friends. God bless

I rarely do that. I only borrow when I forget to bring my money in sport lesson to canteen so I borrow it from my friend and bring it back 5 minutes after in the class. I don't like borrow money for a long time, because I can forget and I feel like have obligation to be nice to him/her who lend me money.. I think better if we borrow money only when we need it and in urgent situation.. And credit card for me just to be used in emergency situation, like when our family must stay in hospital or you lost in another country and your money currency not same,,etc..

I tend to borrow money but not direct cash, I may get a close friend to pay for my flights if we are travelling to Sweden together etc. I have never asked for just money. And I will always pay it back:)

yeah...coz if you don't pay them bask you can never borrow form them again. and it'd probably make you feel terrible knowing you have not paid somebody you owe

Yeah especially if it is a friend, I would lend the money to a close friend if I had it. So it's nice that one or two would do the same for me:)

I do my best to never borrow money from anyone. I hate borrowing money because it makes me feel bad. Borrowing money to me is like a sign that I have hit rock bottom. I work, I go to school, and I should be able to hold my own and pay for things on my own. I shouldn't need help from anyone.

As much as possible I tried to avoid borrowing money because I can't sleep when I know that I have debt. I worry too much and because I still don't have stable income, I'm afraid that I couldn't pay it in due time. Its also embarrassing if I can't able to pay what I borrow to the time I promised to pay it. That would be a bad record and the person might not trust me anymore. I'm also a bad creditor coz when my friends borrow money from me, sometimes when they will pay already, I asked them when did they borrow money to me? I forgot sometimes that they have borrowed money. And then I would thank them for reminding me that. My friends would even tease me that they wished they haven't told me that because I didn't remember their debt at all.. ^^

I tried not to borrow any money from any one. Because i don't like the feeling or owing someone something. I like to reply on myself. But once in a while, if in accident, i don't have any cash with me and i need it so bad, i will ask my friend for the cash and give it back within a week.

Hi, whenever possible, I will not borrow money from anyone. However, as I can remember clearly, I borrowed once from my parents. That was when I first came out to work and I need a car for me to go to work, so I have borrowed some money to get a second hand car. I opted to borrow from my parent cause it doesn't charge any interest compared to the bank. But I have returned it to them by installment within 1 year.
