Hi All,
IT companies from India can do much better globally if they change their attitude. It’s the bloody mindset we have. Some perspectives:
1. Indian IT firms look only short term, immediate profits. There is no long term vision.
2. Lot of us lack soft skills during no proper training. They are comparable to Africans in Africa. Speaking loudly, lack of manners, me first behavior, jumping the line, etc. Unfortunately its not taught in school/colleges and at home.
3. They create lot of hype
4. Lot of Indians spend big time. If you are good in what you do with a decent attitude, you don’t have to suck up.
5. That “somehow do the work” attitude need to go. Taking a crash course in programming for two weeks (like in the Y2K era) and claiming to be a software engineer won’t cut it.
6. Lot of Indians are suspicious of everything. I think that’s how they are brought up.
Note that I am not generalizing. There are desis who don’t fall into these categories. I hope and prey that the mindset and attitude changes. There is more room to learn if Indians can put their mind.

Point no 1 is perhaps the best reason which underlines the current situation.too much slavery type attitude from the MNC s are not the right way to go.Hope the situation will change and hope that India will emerge as one of the main super powers of world and may god help me to contribute to that.
