I like eating nuts, such peanut, sunflower seeds, cashews, etc. however nuts are expensive in the uk, especially cashews. so when i shop in the supermarket or open market i always pay attention on the cashews shelfs. i usually buy raw cashews then cook at home.
i have two ways to cook cashews, one is fried cashews with shrimp and some tomatoes together to cook. another way is to put cashews in the oven and roast it.
how about you? do you like cashews? if you do like cashews, what do you do with them?
happy mylotting.

I really enjoy cashews, I have found that the easiest, most effective way to enjoy them is to take them out of the shell before eating them. I hope this helps.

I dont like cashews on their own but i do like them if they are in a cooked dish. Have you tried cooking a nut roast? They are delicious, you can put whatever you like into them, i especially like pecan and walnuts. Youve made me hungry now from replying to this discussion!

I love cashews but like you say they are expensive. Just like chocolate almonds. Chocolate almonds are real good but they are five dollars for a small box. It seems too much just for them to add chocolate. I dont cook cashews i prefer ones already prepared. I dont alter the taste in any way.

thanks for your reply. here the chocolate almonds are expensive too. i think when the food involved in nuts it will become expensive in the UK. maybe because the country has no its own nuts.
i also buy prepared cashews sometimes, but for economical reason i prefer raw cashews then i cook myself.
