does it matter when people post in my lot with a wrong grammar or spelling?

I don't think anybody's going to mess up my English at this point. Thing is, people here, a lot of them are just learning English. And this is a good place to come to practice it. So no, I don't mind if their spelling and grammar needs work as long as I can understand what they are saying.

hmmm... actually it doesnt matter if the english is good, or in correct grammar or in correct spelling as this is an international site. and we all know that not all people nor country use english as their common language... so dont expect that everyone here are perfect when it comes to their english communication... some might be here to practice their english while earning money at the same time... besides, i just read one post here though he just copy that from the very famous writer and its about scramble words... and the writer was right.. its not about the spelling but its on the way u understand the whole content of the story... besides some learned english not by having proper education coz as u can see in some other country, not all of them are able to finished their college or degree... they learned english out of their own, through communication like what we have here in mylot.. Though even those degree holder, u cant still expect them to be perfect with their english... as they grown up not in english speaking country...

People come here form all over the world and all walks of life. English is not the first language for many of our users and the mylot guidelines specify that we try to be understanding of this fact and not criticize poor/broken English or bad spelling and grammar. I know a lot of native English speakers who are very smart but have terrible grammar and can't spell to save their lives, but it doesn't make them bad people or any less interesting to talk to, they still have much to offer that we can learn from if we are willing to look past their written imperfections. Sometimes it's hard to resist the urge to offer corrections, but the polite thing to do is only offer if asked. Nobody's shortcomings with the English language will effect my abilities, what I learned in school has been incorporated into my very being and no amount of broken English or bad spelling will change that.

No one is perfect. We make typographical errors or errors in grammar almost all of the time so you really would not expect them to be adept in English grammar and spelling. So, i don't really mind, as long as the words are coherent, they make sense and I can understand them. :)
