I don't think you have insomnia, people who seriously have insomnia can only sleep a few hours, not as many as you are getting. I usually don't go to bed until 1am-4am, though I am not an insomniac. 9 to 10 pm is pretty early, I can't see many people going to bed that early, you are young, so it is completely normal to do this. I have some friends you are insomniacs, and they can only sleep an hour or two every night, so I think you are getting ample rest and it is healthy.

You should have a steady pattern in retiring to bed.Only then you can easily slip into sleep.As you have suddenly changed your bed habits you are experiencing some hardships.That doesn't mean you are insomniac.Just a change in order.Don't panic.Try to lie in bed with closed eyes and in a week or so,your body clock will get adjusted and you can enjoy your sleep normally.Cheers!
