Wouldn't be awesome if Paypal or Alertpay offered a type of savings account so that we could leave all the little pennies and PTC things in there and build a bit of money off of interest. I think it would draw more people to use the accounts and well we'd proffer too.
I know it sounds a bit far fetched but it was a blind sided what if that knocked me off my chair.
Let me know what you think Mylot!

Yeah I know what you mean. I just opened like a debit card on paypal. It's like they sent me an email telling me I am pre-qualified for a paypal debit card thing. So I applied for it and after 2 days I got an email telling me I got approved. I think it's kinda cool considering it takes too long for the money to be transferred from paypal to my bank account. It's a pain waiting for like 4 days.

True but I doubt if paypal would ever do that. Normally, I wait like from $25 or more before I trasfer money from paypal to my bank account. I mean what's the point of transferring a dollar or a few cents to my bank account. Better to just keep it all in paypal for a while.

I too have a pay-pal debit card, it comes in handy quite often when i want to be able to use that couple of bucks on my account without waiting almost a week for it to transfer. I also have my pay-pal debit card and account linked to my bank account now, so that if i want to make a purchase, say on E-bay, but don't have the moeny in paypal, i can still use my paypal to pay for it, and it will deduct it immediately from my bank account, once again circumventing the money transfer waiting period. It has certainly made on-line shopping even easier.

Hello friend,
It really sounds a nice idea for all of us who are using Paypal and Alertpay. However, we have to understand that it's not real money that we have deposited there, like we do in banks. The banks lend the money out to industries on much higher rates of interests and then they pay us a part of it. These people don't work like that.
So,although it sounds nice for us, it would not be so for the companies.Hence,we should be happy with the free service they're providing us.

yeah that would be great, because withdrawing a few pounds at a time from various websites doesn't seem like much but it would seem like a lot if like you said you could leave it piling up
