Thank so much and Good Bye.....Former Pres. Corazon Aquino

Philippines
July 31, 2009 6:55pm CST
It's 6:30am when i woke up and had some coffee and bread breakfast. then I opened up our television in our house. check channels, then i stumbled to our local channel here...then, it was weird because they weren't supposed to be any news on Saturday morning. i found out that she officially died in Cardio Respiratory Arrest. She was the former President who was put into power right after the down fall of Dictator Ferdinand Marcos, when he was exiled and toss out of the Palace by the people who are so sick of his rule of 2 decades. She was still Politically active even after her Presidency.. Know more about this Once great inspiration to my country.. Not a Referral Link http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cory_Aquino To my Fellow Country men. It was just her time..so, When the Hell are we gonna do something to make a difference?! just a rant...

I saw your comment on the pic of cory, she was tough alright but a decent one. there wwas 6 coup attempts and one of them took place in the presidential palace, every one was damn scared and there they see her combing her hair and waiting to address the media, not scared at all. among those were also 2 major disasters like major earth quake and volcano eruption. she even spoke to your congress late back 1986. here's the link http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WX9ysynaIq0 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G4gWe6KkFX4 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vn0ZbsEUUrg these were here entire video of the speech.....

Tita Cory is one of the few Filipino politicians we can be proud of. Although she made mistakes during her term, people knew deep inside that she was just doing what she believed is the best interest for the Filipinos. Even after her term, she was vocal in supporting us against politicians who are corrupt and who abuse their power for personal interests. She is indeed a national treasure and i hope the government declares this day a national holiday to pay tribute and give honor and respect to our former leader.

Well, those were some false and hard starts, but she did what she had to do. and despite of her chance for a second term, she refused and put it to an end after 6 years, we should all be happy for what she did. this is something that madam arroyo didn't learn in her presidency. Gloria could have been more honorable if she was true to her word back in her first term.

I think it would still be better if we pray for our nations future. she would have wanted that. i am pretty sure she's at peace right now with her husband Ninoy. well, it's only been 2 to 3 decades since People Power 1, i personally think we still have a long way to go.

..yeah.. thanks for the information.. she's been a blessings to the Philippines and I also feel sad.. We're in the same country.. She's a kind of politician who never stop working for the country even if she's not in the highest position already.. And there were no negative issues against her.. I wish somebody like her will also ascend as the president of the Philippines.. Politicians right now in our country are not doing well.. they always look on their own satisfaction and not the country.. they just use some facade to cover up their real agenda why they want to be in the position.. I really hope other politicians will learn a lesson from her example.. Thanks to her..

I hope so..and it will take time before another person like that ascend in the lines of the Political Circle and fight for our rights and freedom. Politicians now are racing for the 2010 elections and some really needs to work out on their true intentions...I don't them any more.. but we'll see that when we vote in 2010.

I am not sure if they would, the country has change since the People Power 1 and 2. and many of our people started having doubts about almost everything. it wasn't always like that during the 90's/

Its sad to hear that also.. but its better to live with the lord if your all done with your purpose on this land. just like Sen. Noynoy said.. they wanted former pres.aquino to live longer but ofcouse with the quality of life. So to live in pain and to bed ridden its not the quality of life worthy of Pres.Cory Aquino. Her life would be a forever powerful and good influence for all and Hopefull until the end. Filipinos are lucky to have a such mother/president Aquino to look upto.

It's really hard to loose some one important to the country. i suggest that you remember her and that's important. guess now that she's gone, who's gonna help your country rise from darkness.
