Cory Aquino just died

I just read it in Yahoo Philippines that the former President of the Philippines passed away. All of us have time to say goodbye and it's her time now to be with the Creator. May she rest in peace.

she's one great leader of the philippines, she's very helpful to the poor people in Phils, she's also leads the people power revolation that happens feb. 22-24 in the year 1986 with the help of the roman catholic church..

Was quite surprised when we woke up this morning and opened out tv. I was surprised to see them saying thanks to Cory and just got surprised as the news flowed in. I am pretty sure we all are grateful somehow for her bringing back democracy to our country. Although she wasn't able to bring the country to where she wanted because of so many things that happened in her administration that prevented her to bring our country to what she dreams for us. But nevertheless, we could not put all our blame on her for the failures of her administration because there are some that don't want it realized back then.

I think Former President Cory Aquino has been an inspirational leader, someone we should look up to. She's someone who genuinely loves the country and it's people, and that's something rare to find among politicians and civilians alike.

So sad... but I am somehow happy that she will not have to suffer more from her sickness. And, she will be meeting Ninoy again. Our newspapers and television stations will be running lots of stories about her starting tomorrow. This is a big chance for those who know nothing about here to learn more what this plain housewife did to help restore democracy in the country. I just saw GMA's "Paalam Cory" special few hours ago and I can't help but feel so proud of her. Paalam, Cory.

Rest In Peace President Cory Aquino. You'll be remembered in every Filipinos' hearts.. Thanks for giving us the democracy that we badly need after the dictatorship of Marcos.. I hope you will be happy now coz you will finally reunite with your loving husband Ninoy Aquino.. God Bless!
