These are three ways to cook steak. I broil my steak in the oven. I think it is the best way to cook steak. It is usually more tender when cooked this way. I have had steak fried or BBQ but I do not think they are as tender. It may just be me I do not know. How do you like to have your steak cooked? Why?

I like steak too but usually I cook it over a BBQ grill for a few minutes because its more tender and the juice will ooze out of the meat when you slice it. I have tried frying it but I don't like it. I have not tried cooking it in an oven but I am happy with the grilling of the steak.

My mom used to use the broiler part of the oven to cook our steak and it was very juicy and tender that is probably why I like to use the broiler part of the oven to cook my steak. Thank you for your response. happy mylotting.

It depends on the time of year. In the summer, I love to throw a steak and some veggies on the BBQ so that I can eat outside and take advantage of the beautiful weather. The rest of the year, I use my George Foreman and grill my steaks indoors.

To make your steak more tender on the grill, use a hot fire and sear the meat on both sides quickly for about one minute on each side. then move it to a cooler part of the grill and cook it slower. Also rare or med. rare meat is more tender than well done. and don't forget, never put a fork or a knife into the meat while cooking it. It lets the juices out and the meat gets drier.
