Hi All,
Recently i got a job offer from one company which is ready to pay double the amount of my current salary. Is it good to change my job now in the current situation?
This also to be noted that, i am working in my current company from past 5 years and paid less but i have my job satisfaction.
Now i am in dilemma what to do?

This is a decision you need to make for yourself... weigh the pros and cons. Do you need the extra money? What are the benefits included with each job (health care, ect)? Maybe you have more job security with your current job, or more chance for career advancement?
If you enjoy working where you currently are, then you might want to stay there... there are more important things in life than money. My first job was as a lifeguard for $8.5/hour - $9/hour if I was teaching swimming lessons. That was at the YMCA, and I knew full well that I could have been making $10/hour for guarding and $15/hour for teaching if I was at a city pool instead... but I liked working at the Y, I liked my co-workers, I liked my students and the people I saw using the facilities every day. For me, giving up my involvement in the community wasn't worth the extra money.

I dont know. On the one hand you are bringing in a lot more income for the same hours you are putting in, but if you give up your current job... that you actually like... and end up in a job where you are not so happy, thats a pretty big trade-off. But you may not get another offer like this. If it happened to me, I would probably keep the job I was happy in. I like my job and the people I work with. I'd have to know I would be just as satisfied with the new job as with the current job and there is just no way to know that.
