John Ashcroft, Jan 15, 2002, announced John Walker was guilty of killing nationals and part of Taliban but dropped ALL charges if Walker agreed to not telling anyone of being tortured by administration, as a part of that plea bargain he still received 20 years in federal maximum prison (federal prison your not allowed to pardons before your sentence is over). Go to: http://www.democracynow.org/ For interview, fast forward to "11:40" Only UNTIL new administration came in was Gag order released where his parents could speak about what really happened and Walker could talk to his own parents without FBI officials watching their conversations Fast Forward to 56:26 where his father explains, "Yasser Esam Hamdi," picked up in same spot as John Walker Lindh never charged, initially taken to Guantanamo, then military prisons, when it was discovered he was Saudi Arabian, born in Batan Rouge, Louisiana, they immediately released him over to Saudi Arabia (after Supreme Court ruled he was not allowed to be detained here without trial). His father says that right after 9/11 the media exercised no objectivity and didn't look into the facts behind his sons story but instead just repeated what was heard.

Our media is a joke. Good reporting has gone the way of gas guzzling cars. The media exist only to serve the agenda of the ruling party, whichever it may be.
