for me the first ten minutes matters. if i could get 10 mins silence i would start sleeping. even if a bomb explodes, im sure i wont wake up. so, people trying to explode a bomb on me, has to wait for 10mins till i start sleeping.

oh! I forgot to tell about my alarm.
My alarm is loud enough to bang anyone's head to wake up. all people in my house are annoyed of my alarm, but still I never heard my alarm in the morning. people wonder how could I sleep with that alarm roaring in my ears!!!
I think I'm gifted about my sleep. thank god for that!

No. I need quiet to get to sleep. Though if I was really tired, I suppose I'll get to sleep, but it won't be good sleep as the noise will still disturb me and any change in the level of noise will wake me. I also really like to have it dark to get to sleep though I can get to sleep even if it is light, I'll have to be really tired to do it. I've never been able to sleep on an aircraft either.

What I have problems with is sleeping when it is still bright. When I nap in the afternoon I have to wear an eyemask. Sometimes after watching a very good horror film, I'll be too scared to turn the lights off but I'll still have to wear the eyemask
silly girl...

No, I absolutely can not! Even just the ticking of the clock or the sound of humming insects bother me. I want totally quiet and total darkness, if I had my way. But of course, that's impossible. Even the AC makes sounds. Sounds bother me for a while, but I would fall asleep due to tiredness. Our neighbor has a "deaf" grandma (as their made puts it) and she would watch TV really loud, even at night. I actually tried yelling over the fence to lower the volume, but I guess she didn't hear me LOL! We also have this neighbor who has this whiny little kid that throws a tantrum every morning. It's such a horrible sound to wake up to. Once she threw a tantrum at 3am and woke me up. I was cranky and was feeling really rude, so I yelled at her, and her mother was there with her, and I heard her say "Hear that? Now please quiet down!"

I don't think I can either. If it is too loud. Maybe I can if I am too tired.

Nah... my neighbors are the busybody type but they are far from noisy. If they are noisy because they are celebrating something I guess I can bear it a while and not do or say anything. Unless if they are the kind that party all night long and every night, then maybe I will take action. Maybe make a complaint to the management.

I really cannot sleep if its very noisy. In fact even when the lights on I find it hard to sleep. I would most likely be irritated if there is a noise when I sleep. I have the same complaints in so far as our area is concerned. Most of the time there are neighbors shouting and loud music being played. I just wonder why they turn the volume so high as if they are deaf.

That's funny!! I'm the complete opposite! I can't sleep if someone is talking or if the tvs on. The only thing that I can sleep to is music and it doesn'y matter what type. Well since I don't like metal or country it can't be either of those. In fact there are nights where I have trouble falling asleep so I have to put on my ipod to help put me to sleep.
