Yeah its true that love hurts, sometimes it becomes an obsession. But dont you think it the pain that gives each relation its strength. Consider the time of parting, is it not the most painful moment, but at the same time is it not the time when we understand it the most the moment of the strongest feelings.

I do think that painful moments, while hard, can bring about an even stronger relationship. I've noticed this is my relationship with my best friend. I only get to spend time with him when I am home for summer breaks or Christmas - we go to school in different states. Every time I have to say goodbye to him it's painful to do so, but in the end it's worth it.
Also, once I got in a fight with him, and words were said that were extremely painful. But once we got over ourselves and apologized, we were better than we were before. I think that pain is a big part of love. Without it, love would not be allowed to flourish. Love wouldn't have any obstacles to overcome.

thanks for your reply. I truly feel that if the pain werent there one could never have felt the extreme love.

i think that the pain strengthen the bond of love if the two people get over it together and grow together other than that its not going to work
