which infant milk formula did u give for ur baby

My eldest daughter was on SMA gold that was fine for her until she was 1 then onto cows milk, I used that because its what my mum used for me and my sisters my choices as to why I formula fed her are my own reasons and not up for discussion. My youngest started on sma gold but she was really poorly on it eventually after 6 weeks she was diagnosed with reflux and given SMA staydown on prescription its a pain to mix because it has to be done with cold water and can not be shaken but it worked wonders and she turned into a happy baby over night she was on this until 10 months when simply age and being on solids overcame her reflux she then went onto cow and gate which she managed to easily keep down and digest

I didn't have enough supply so I had to use formula. I used whatever was thru WIC @ the time. I think unless you have specific digestive issues w/ your baby you don't need anything extra special. Usually people go with what the hospital puts baby on and if there's a problem adjust brands w/ your pediatrician's recommendation. As switching from one to another constantly can mess up their digestive tract.

I fed my baby girl in the natural way but due to my severe blood loss I was weak after her birth. My body was putting in all its energy into keeping me alive. My milk supply was disappointing. My baby was put on SMA Gold but it didn't suit her. I have changed that and she is now on Nurture Soya made by Heinz. I am vegan and I wish her to be too. She is getting on much better and seems happier. I think she has constipation at the moment. In the evening she still gets some colic. She is less snuffly in her nose and she can breathe more clearly. I was allergic to cow's milk and I think she was too.
