Hi,web technology has crossed the limits where you can create your own site using tools available online. You can avoid the web designer and huge cost incurred for website creation.I am into fashion designing and needed a new website to promote my newly started boutique, due to my financial constraints I don't know where to start,
http://www.MakeAnySite.com drove all my concerns by getting the best trendy website with unlimited hosting and free life time domain for just 4$ with attractive word press themes related to fashion category. It is gifted with great features like unlimited pages, unlimited emails, unlimited database and you can incorporate rich features like videos, photos, slide shows and more.

Hey,
Well firstly you need to know how to use Dreamweaver, such as using HTML/CSS and once you know that, I suggest that you learn how to use Photoshop since that will easily allow you to create your own graphics quite easily. Make sure you have a good day, God bless and Happy Lotting!!

Okay, a good website design would require basic knowledge of HTML, and other Adobe products Dreamweaver, Flash and Photoshop.
You being a beginner, should try on the basic templates available in dreamweaver or publisher. Try your knowledge there and modify the design as per your creativity. Also, if you want some login pages, or feeds i.e. "scripting", it requires knowledge of PHP, AJAX or most basic language would be JavaScript. You can also use the pre-designed scripts and incorporate into your web page.
I suggest, you should read some tutorials on w3schools.org. I've learnt JavaScript from there.
