Except for my closest friends, I'm really not at all thrilled when people visit me. I get tired of socializing after an hour or so, but I don't want to tell someone to just get out of my house; that would be rude. So...I do my best to be polite even when I start getting tired. I might not talk as much, but I'm not going to be snarky and tell them the hit the road.

Hi IceSmile,
How interesting, well, I think it depends on the person who is going to visit me and who am I to visit. If I don't like someone or some people, I would not invite him/her/them :) To avoid uncomfortable situation for me and them. I don't like it when I get unexpected visits as I like to be prepared before any one visit me at all cases. The same thing applies for me visiting others although sometimes I would do some visits I don't enjoy but I do them when I have to only :D
Thanks and Happy MyLotting

I love spending time with Family, Friends and Loved Ones!! So, its always a pleasure meeting them.. They visiting my place or me visiting theirs, thats not any issue!!
But the thing is, I try to keep in mind certain things.. Like on working days, people generally wish to relax after coming home from work, so I try to avoid visiting them on weekdays. Also, on weekends, I call my friends before going to their place to see if they are available to spend some time with me or not..

Oh I'm like you. I hate both hehe.. Not that I hate people but I'm a loner and I prefer being alone in the house. I'm not too good in entertaining visitors too so I seldom let guests come for a visit.
But I'd rather let them visit me than I go over to their place. I don't like to bother people. They could be busy too. And who knows, they might hate visitors too hehe.
Ciao!

Hi icesmile! As for me, I don't like when people coming at my house unannounced. I also don't like to be visited like everyday, because I don't get to do things I'm supposed to. If there's like an occasion that would be fine, but if someone would come visit me unannounced I would be really pissed, just in silence though...I like visiting my friends house, but of course they should know it first before I go there, so that they could prepare and they could buy me good food (laughs).

I prefer to visit others because it's easier for me to just get in the car and go. Instead of having to clean the house and making sure I have enough food to feed them.

hello icesmile,
I don't mind if someone will visit me for as long as I know a day or two about it. That way I am prepared - food, house and everything. I don't like surprise visit at all. Makes me panic and can't think that much. Feel stress too for I don't know what to do especially if there is no food ready for her/him. Have no housekeeper that's why.
Going to friend's house, not much for me unless it is necessary. I am a home body person.

A surprise visit will be good, sometimes I do like it, it signs that the person remember and miss me. But for me, I will prefer to tell people in advance that I wanted to visit them. i don't want my visit cause them inconvenience as it also cause me inconvenience too. Happy Mylotting

depends on who will visiting me..
if they're people i respect, my friends, or anyone that i've known before it's fine with me. but if they're annoying people, then yes i would be annoyed and will find an excuses just so they won't visit me lol..
and personally, i'm not really a "visiting" kind of person..unless i really miss them and really concern about my relationship with them. same with you, if i do need to visit them for a reason then i will go, but if not i might won't do it. sometimes i prefer to meet them in some places we've arranged before, instead at my house or theirs..lol

hi icesmile!
visiting me is okay with me as long as i am informed and i am happy if someone visits us! hehehe...
but i hate surprise visits coz it makes me feel uncomfortable...first of all i am not prepared...
i like to give the best accommodation that i can give when i have visitors...i want to be prepared for their visits and prepare something for them. now if its a surprise, sometimes i don't have any in my house to offer and that makes me feel bad...and also sometimes the house is not in good condition! hehehe i mean it is not yet cleaned...and i also hate that...
with me visiting them...mmmm i don't usually do this. its not because i don't like to visit them, but because sometimes i am also thinking them...so if i want to visit, i inform them first so that i can also avoid conflicts on their schedules...

I never like to expect 'last minute' visitor, as I think it will make me very uncomfortable. I welcome visits, with the condition I was inform at least a day earlier, as then I could have more preparation to be done. Coming to my house at the mere last minute, will just make me feel uneasy... And for me to make a visit, I will normally call in a day earlier, or even short visits to just deliver cakes or stuff, I will call in an hour earlier... at least I make people expect me than unexpectedly..

I'm pretty much a stay at home person. So when I see my friends and or family I prefer them to come over to our house. But its always nice to go out and see your friends at their place! And When your family lives out of town, like mine does, its a good excuse to pack up for the weekend and just get out of town :)

I would rather go to someone else's house. For one thing, my apartment is really really tiny, and not big enough to have people come to visit. We have a couch and a computer chair for my husband and I to sit, so really not that much room. LOL Others have more comfortable living rooms. :)
