Do you think that the recent incident in Cambridge between Officer Crowley and Gates showed that Obama may be a little race sensitive? Maybe he's not, maybe he is. By his remarks that the Cambridge police officers acted stupidly it is hard to tell. Maybe all the racial rhetoric he listened to under the reverend Wright came to the surface when he was asked to comment on the incident between Gates and Crowley.Or it may of just been one of those times that Obama minus the teleprompter opened his mouth before engaging his brain.

Obama decided to make his rude and sly comment before details were released to the public. The police arrived at the house and no one was there until they noticed Gates walking up. Unfortunately, since the world is unexpectant and the police never know when they could be in danger for their own lives, they have to take precautions, and since Gates was the only one there at the scene, I do not blame them for taking him in for questioning. It's not like they charged him with a crime and held him for any length of time. The police later released Gates, but it was Gates and Obama who decided to make the incident publicly rediculous. It does not matter if you are white or black, if a disturbance call is made and you are the only person at the scene, you're going to get questioned rather you like it or not, and if you try to resist an arrest you are committing a felony that then becomes a crime chargeable. If you are going to be taken in by the police, cooperate, answer their questions, and get a lawyer if you think it is going to get to that point. Otherwise, go ahead and resist arrest and get yourself into trouble regardless if you were guilty of the original incident reported or not. It would have just been another normal case, but no, Obama had to get some drama started. Do we really need a Drama Queen as President in America?
