I thought I had lost access to my pictures from my trip to Thailand and Cambodia. I was able to download them last night and wanted to share some. This was a great place to visit and it was a lot cheaper than going to Hawaii or something like that. The only expensive part is actually getting there. Once you are there, it is cheap. What is a nice place that you have visited and what did you like about it?

Definitely Thailand. I went to a lot of islands and beaches in Thailand, my favorite one is Phi Phi Island. Love the beach and fresh sea food. Love the party on the beach also.

I spent about a month between Thailand and Cambodia on that trip and another month in the south part of Thailand that summer and Thailand and Laos the next February. Thailand was the nicest I think. Did you make it to any full moon parties?

Not yet, only half moon, in Phi Phi Island that was and not so many people at that time. In mid September we are going to Koh Pah Ngan for the full moon party. That is where people go for the full moon party, the most happening place. Join me! :-)

The best place that I have ever visited is Samoa in the South Pacific Ocean. I loved its white sandy palm fringed beaches. I found the people really friendly and the culture was fascinating. I visited the beaches, the green highlands, a Polynesian pyramid in the jungle and a lovely little island. I stayed in guest houses and traditional thatched buildings. I went there on my way home from lovely New Zealand.

That sounds really nice!!! I like the way island areas are like that. They tend to be so green and the people tend to be so nice. Thanks for the response.

So many places that I really liked that it's really hard to pick one. My favorite place on the west coast is Laguna Beach, Ca and on the east coast it is Misquamicut Beach in Rhode Island.

I haven't been to beaches in Rhode Island, but I have been to beaches on the west coast. I just don't like being in the high population areas. I think that ruins it for me. Thanks for the response.

The nicest place i have visited was Orlando, Florida, i had never seen so many palm trees and all sorts of critters, since i live in the Northwest. The only out of country place of been to was Israel, its very desert Arizona type weather and terrian.

I agree that Florida is nice. I never did care for deserts. That's what I like about Thailand and the rest of southeast Asia that I have been to. Thanks for the response.

The nicest place that I've ever visited was Venice, Italy. I loved that there were no cars in the old city, you either had to get around by boat or by foot. It was just amazing to me. So much unlike anywhere I've ever been before. I also liked that the shops were relatively inexpensive to buy nice things while I was there. Definitely a place I'd like to visit again.

I have often heard of places like that and I would like very much to visit some day. I am hoping that once I get on my feet again that I will be able to start traveling at least once in a while. That sounds like a nice place to visit. Thanks for the response.
