How many True Friends do you have??

Since its friendship day ....i think its a good question to ask....all of us have lots of friends i am sure .... i have them too....but are they all real friends....can we rely upon them always....i thought that and started counting and my count reached just 9-10(In my college alone I have 80 or more "FRIENDS")....but about them i am sure that they will stand by me always....help me out every time as much as they can ....with them its just not about a friendship band....i know they care....so i am asking you how many true friends do you have....think reply and be honest....

Its true that everyone need friends. It doesn't matter how many do one have, the matter is how many is really his/her friend. The definition of FRIEND says "A friend in need is a friend indeed.". Its true. In these world, according to my experience, I have seen, its easier to get friend but extremely tough to carry the friendship in the same manner. A friend can come closer as time passes by or vice versa. A friend can stand by you when you really need or vice versa. You can depend upon one or many but the fact is whatever you are wanting can be acheived or not. Luck is also a big fact, I mean FRIEND LUCK, which plays a crutial role as we see many people has lots of friends but most of the people have very few real friend. Its also extremely difficult to find a true friend.

I agree with you in most of your points.It was nice reading your response.
However I do not believe in friend luck.If that had been the case I would say I had the best luck in the whole world.
I have had 6-7 friends who have been my freinds for nearly a decade if not more and we have faced this world together no matter what.But I would not say so.That is because I believe, that it all depends on the person who has friends.His attitude and his aura are important factors in having true friends.It mostly depends on how he treats his friends, how much he respects them, helps them, in other words how much a 'friend' he has been to them.That actually makes for realfriendship.It is, like love a two way feeling.If you are true to them, your friends will be true to you.

Thanx for the reply Saikat....you mentioned some good point there....yes friend luck does matter....i really hope all us can find atleast one friend to rely....always.

though i am a very social and friendly person i always had a limited number of friends.so all my friends are quite special to me..but to say true friends i think i have around 4-5 true friends who i can really trust and rely upon..i am sure they will be there to help me in my bad times..

I would say I've three true friends that I know I can count on for anything. Our friendship has been tested and tried and we've seen each other through some major stuff. In fact at this point they're not considered friends but rather family.

Hi......pal i am Arjuna have read your comment about friendship and more or less i am agreed on your point of view and for me friendship means a connection between u and your pal which will go unconditional and no hidden reason ......personally i have many but i cannot rely on them ..........but i think i have a friend who i can really look upon...its my word i will be glad if any body can share point of view...........;;i will be waiting

My numbers are close to yours.There are 8-9 people who are absolutely precious to me.I would do anything for them and they have done or will do anything for me.Most of my friends have been my friend for 5 years or more.I am proud to say that I never lost a friend.Once I have made a true bond of friendship with someone it has never broken.I have freinds who have been with me since I was 2 years old.I love my friends.

Its true that everyone needs friends. It doesn't matter how many one have, the matter is how many are his/her true friend. As per friend's definition, one can say whether his/her friend is truely his/her friend or not when he/she needs some helps/needs. A friend can come closer as time passes by but it can be judged when the time of need would come. I believe finding a true friend is a matter of luck as it is really tough to get a true friend in these days.
