Woo whooo, I made it to 500 posts. The first magical plateau that I have been striving for, for some time. I am wondering what happens next. Will they notify me that I can now upload pictures? I am so excited to be able to use this feature. I know there is something else now, may be emoticons? Not sure. I guess I will read TOS but want to hear from those who are past the 500 mark.

Congratulations on making your 500th post. As far as I can remember, there won't be any notification of any kind but you will be able to post links. Makes it real convenient when posting a response to a member who needs further information about a particular subject. It's taken me almost 3 years to get to over 5,000 discussions. I wasn't active for about the first six months after I joined.

i think at 500 you can copy and paste..comes in handy if you think the page is going to error so you don't have to write out what you wrote all over again.
um..i don't remember anything else about it,it's been too long for me.

Wow! Congratulations! I'm so new at this, I have no idea what 500 posts entitles you to, but that is quite a milestone. I'm at 5 and still trying to figure out what my avatar will be. Keep up the good work and enjoy!
