I've never had a tattoo, except for a henna one. When I was on a trip, there was a booth selling them. I got a Tweety Bird on the back of my leg. It was neat looking. They look quite like silhouettes of tattoos. I'm not sure what culture these are from, but they're neat looking.

I never have one. My sister did have an instant henna tattoo for her wedding. It lasted around two days for the cost of RM70. We usually use the henna leaves to make it but it won't be as crafty as the one made by shops. Since we're too busy, an instant one was a good choice too. Unfortunately, we made it two days before the wedding. So when it came to the wedding day, the drawing wasn't clear and beautiful anymore.

Did you at least get a picture of it? Then your sister would have something to put in her wedding scrapbook.

No. Since we're too busy with the preparation for the wedding, we don't take a picture of it, which kinda sux~~~

Yes, they are different. It's always nice when you can experiment with other cultures and lifestyles. It broadens your horizon, and you're not stuck in your box.

If that's what you want to do, have at it. I'll stick with the fake ones. Hennas are fake because they wear off after a time. I've read that in some cultures, brides get hennas painted on their hands and feet. While these tattoos are still visible, they don't have to do any housework, after they're married. Many brides avoided washing their hands and feet, so they wouldn't have to start their housework.

Yes, i really like to apply heena tattoo. A good reason is that it is temporary and gives a great look. I knew a site which is having a great collection of heena tattoos. I am sharing that link and i hope you will also like the designs. http://mehndidesignsforhands.org
