i broke my diet today

And this discussion is just to make me feel better about it.
Yesterday I cheated with a HUGE slice of cake. And, today, at a party/artshow/mural workshop/children event I ate a tamal, rice, beans, candy, drinks, cake, and then came home and had a small salad, 3 pieces of chicken, a tortilla roll and lots of salsa.
The sad part, it that I stil ate healthier than I do WHEN I'M NOT ON A DIET.
I am letting myself believe that I used today to "build my metabolism" but I know the truth, I needed a binge.
Tomorrow I am back on it. Actually, tonight, I am back on...

What kind of diet are you doing?I know exactly were your coming from.I have been on and off diets for about 6 years now.It gets discouraging but I know its something I have to do for me.You can do it.Just take it one day at a time.If you fall off the ban wagon just get back up and start again.

Everything from weight watchers to the six week body makeover.I am fixing to start weight watchers back.Its a very sensible diet that doesn't deprive you of any certain foods which is what I love.Basically,you just count your points and watch your portions.The only thing with weight watchers the weight slowly comes off and sometimes (even though thats a good thing)it gets frustrating.Anyways good luck with your diet too!It is ok to take a day off every now and then.

actually its okay to cheat on your diet once a week because if you try to never cheat you will get overwhelmed and splurge
