The New iPhone 3GS

Is it worth buying the new iPhone 3GS, I currently own the first gen iPhone and am not sure if I should just upgrade to the 3g instead of the 3gs, any help would be much appreciated.

Let me tell you from me having the original Iphone to getting the Iphone 3GS Today. There not going to do any more serious updates for the original Iphone and the 3GS is only 216 after taxes in NY state with a new 2 yr contract if no contract then its 600 and I got the 16 gig white phone. its got Video Recording and Voice recongization which is sweet along with GPS built right into the maps along with Picture messaging which the original Iphone doesnt support. in the long wrong its a better purchase to get the 3GS in my Opinon :)
