mylot members how do you put smileys in discussion you post?

Hi All,
I have seen many post and discussion where members have put smiley and characters in their post. If anybody here knows how put smileys along with the post or discussion.

I can't put smilies for now because mylot says I have to post at least 200 to enable me to put smilies on my post..... I can't wait to use the smilies to show my emotion virtually.... hehehehe....
