I don't think there is an age limit on being a good parent. I honestly know of some teenage parents that are better at being there and taking care of their children over older people. I think a young couple or young mother gets judged automatically sometimes. It isn't right. Yes there are young parents out there, but that doesn't mean they are bad parents. As for the couples relationship lasting, divorce happens all the time to people of all ages so I don't think it has anything to do with being a young couple that had a baby together as teenages. Relationships split up for several reasons, but the majority of the reason young couples don't make it is because as they are still growing they grow apart because their goals change. It doesn't have anything to do if you are young parents or not.

No i don't all i think of teenage mothers is that they may have made a mistake. even if you have the talk with your daughter she ultimately will make her own decisions just under your influence.
