Hi there, I joined mturk and am not from US. I have earned $80 there up to now. The more you work the more you earn. Sometimes there are very good hits, also some writing if you like that. and I like to do easy ones that don't require much effort and all sums up then. Since I'm not from US I withdraw the money to an Amazon gift certificate then you order items. Here in Malta they only ship books and some other items though not everything. I have already bought two books and have the money to buy some other things.
I see that you are from India, they can send check there. This is what they say:
If you are a worker in India, you can elect to receive a check for your earnings in Indian Rupees. You will need to provide your birth date, passport number, Electoral Photo Identity Card (EPIC) number or Permanent Account Number (PAN). A scanned copy of your passport, EPIC or PAN card is also required. All the information you need to sign up to receive payments denominated in Rupees is provided on the Account Settings page.
Have a nice day!

Yes you can earn heaps there. However they don't accept paypal so really the only way to get paid is if you live in the US through your bank account or use a voucher for the website amazon, which all countries can't even use. If you don't live in the US then it's useless, if you do, you'll make heaps of money.

The tasks on mturk are tedious and pay very little. However,if you like buying on Amazon.com,you can use the payments to buy things there.
