Do you ever feel alone in the World?

Lying in bed just before sleep is a good time for depression to creep in. Your body chemistry is slowing for sleep and that can allow your brain to misbehave. This will happen especially when you are stressed as you are at this time. I think most people experience this at sometime in their lives. just remember you are not alone, your animals need and love you and we at mylot need and love you. Blessings

Hi Gabs, sorry you were feeling like that and as for swine flu, ohh I hope you haven't got it, that is really bad on top of what you are going through, next time you feel like that please give me a call as I am always awak and at my computer till 5.am and only have the tv for comapany and also my computer, so if you need to talk just give me a call, you are not alone, I am only at the other end of the phone. Hello dear friend! For me being alone in the world is what I crave! For me that feeling would be welcomed, I like being alone, I love the peace but barely get it, if it's not the television downstairs blaring, it's the neighbours making noise through the early hours, even the mosquitoes won't give me peace! I so long for the quiet, sanctuary of being alone. I would love to live alone and be left alone, with only the internet to link me with the outside world. No interuptions at all. I think we differ on this totally! Although I do understand where you are coming from, especially if you are not well, I think then you do need people around you to care and to look out for you! At least you have Gissi bless him, I am on holiday tomorrow sweetie away for a week, not looking for to it, so hopefully the week will fly by and I'll be back behind the computer again. So Gissi if you want to come out and play today then bark twice x

and just where do they think ya picked swine flu up? No I havent felt that way as I love it when I get up early and there is no sound around. I also like to drive at that time of the morning with hardly anyone out and about . Me the only one up and about and its just a free feeling!

Hi Gabs! Aside from my husband, yes I do feel alone in this world because of my so called family. No one wants to get in the middle of the argument between my brother and his two darling kids and correct the situation so instead, hubby and I go about our daily lives alone. It sucks but being such a huge battle, we can't fight it alone so why bother if no one else will intervene or help in any way?

I'm so sorry that you are sicker. I really hope they figure out what is wrong and soon. It is awful having to be tested for this and that and then to just find out those tests are normal. You get a little better sometimes and then they no longer test for anything else since you are getting better. I hate that. I want to know what is wrong so it can be taken care of. SO I wish you the best in this area. As for the quiet, I love it. I live in the country and there is hardly ever any sounds just the birds or nature. Once in awhile a car will come by or a neighbor will leave. I have 4 dogs and a ferret, so I hear things off and on in the home.lol The babies all keep me from going out of my mind with too much quiet or lonliness. I have had problems breathing and it wakes me up because it is so bad I can not get a breath. I use the medicine I have for this and it's about 10 to 15 minutes then I can breathe right for me. I say right for me because my breathing is not normal. I hope that you don't have many or any more of the nights that you mentioned as that would be scary if you are not use to it. I have reached over at times and felt of one of the babies because they don't appear to be breathing. I see that he is and I'm settled down. Take care and good luck with the tests gabs.

Many times I have felt this way, and it can be a scary feeling for sure. Even though I am married on days I am not feeling the Best, I do sometimes feel quite alone and it is not a Fun feeling at all. All I usually do is try to think happier thoughts, or listen to some music or Pray if I can get myself to do this as well. Hope you start feeling better soon.

I know the feeling, gabs. Luckily I live in a rather noisy place, there is never complete silence until very late at night. Especially in the hot summer months there are always people out and about, so I don't feel this loneliness because of silence, this is a luxury in Spain, lol. I feel like this when I'm not well and cannot get to sleep however hard I try. It's not that I'm feeling sorry for myself, I just feel strange doing yoga or reading at 4 in the morning because of this annoying insomnia. I've tried exercising in the morning or afternoon like the rest of the world, but I just haven't got the energy. Due to this I sometimes feel isolated and very alone, sniff... I hope the test turned out alright, dear friend. Don't forget I'm here for you, even though I haven't logged into mylot for a while due to family problems. XXX A big warm hug Dana

I hope Gabs, you do not have swine flu and tests just come out fine. To answer your question, I get carried away too at times and really feel utterly alone and its kind of depressing and scary thought. I can understand your panic. For me , who live away from all family and friends, internet is the only consolation and I at times feel it connects me to the world beyond my four walls. In between when I was without it because of shifting places as now I have shifted from Gangok too, I used to feel so lost as if there was nothing to occupy my time at all. By the way I got a new Job as Principal for a schoo for differently abled kids. So for a while everything is going okay for me.

I'm sorry to hear that. I feel all alone in the world all of the time too. I have felt like everything was at a standstill or so silent also and had to go make sure everything was still the same.

Gabs, for that one little tinny tiny moment in time, you were alone in the world. But then it passed. Now you are surrounded by your friends. I promise to make more noise in the world so you will never ever have to experience that moment of panic again. Actually, I like it when it is quiet and peaceful. Too much noise grates on my nerves and makes me cranky.

yes , i live near a busy motor way so although i can be out late at night walking dexter, the silence can be quite surprising. but earlier this year, we went touring in our caravan. and both places we stopped were in the middle of nowhere. just imagine, under the summer night sky, with all the stars, and absolute silence. i loved it !! perhaps its because i am an only child and used to my own company. i think the total silence phenomenom happens so infrequently that you should take comfort from it. hope you are ok after all. a work colleague(who sits right behind me ) was diagnosed with swine flu a fortnight ago. she was quite young so we were very concerned. but glad to say she came back to work yesterday. so keep well, and big hugs to you and gissi xx

Gabbi...I've felt like that alot. Not just when it's quiet, even in the midst of a crowd. It is a common feeling dear friend. You are not alone in feeling it. I see it as an opening to the eternal, the infinity of God. Moments like that can be a doorway into the depth of His purpose for your existence. Do not be afraid...when it happens...talk to the infinate source of all life. I hope you don't have the swine flu...and that you get better soon.

Good morning ..gabs8513..indeed u have given a gr8 thought for thinking..this is a very common experience for me..right from childhood to feel and think that I am alone..dont have any support what so ever..even to date there are situations in the life when I m forced to think that there is no backup..no company..nothing.I m alone in the entire world...with that realization, I have grown ...this will be with me all the time..I am sure...have a nice day..bye

That must be a terrible feeling gaby! Many a times some time back, when I was sort of disillusioned the same feeling used to come whenever I used to be alone. But now, I have an objective, know how to deal with the life's hurdles. Certainly braver and stronger. Love you dear and you must be cheerful and take a very good care of yourself.

Hi, People often feel lonely, especially when he/she is in trouble. And i also feel lonely in sometimes. Now i work in another city with few friends in that city. When i am sick in the middle night, i also feel alone just like you. Happy mylotting!
