what was the happiest piece of news or happiest thing happen to you this year?

A raise? That's great! Hmmm...the happiest bit of news I got all year...I'm not really sure. My Aunt had a heart attack a week or so ago and she is going to be all right. That's great news. But as for me personally, I just got my contacts back. I was not allowed to wear them for two years because of an infection behind my eyes. I was told my retinas were in danger of detaching. So I was told to wear glasses for those two years. It may not seem like big deal to some, but I can see better with contacts. But this past week I went back to the eye doctor and was given the all clear to have my contacts back. And no infection was found.
