Rainy day ideas

This is something that we've struggled with as well this year. It really hasn't been much of a summer and we haven't gotten to enjoy many of our typical activities. Not having an 11 year old, I really don't have a lot of suggestions, but some of the things that I used for my daughter could probably be used for your son as well. 1) When it is raining I let her play video games in moderation. 2) I let her have paper and art supplies to do artwork 3) Paper and a pen write a story The good thing about having a child write during the summer is that it keeps them in tune for school as well as having a creative outlet.
