dogs used for live shark bait!

This is not the only thing that pets r used for. Every time you see a pair of gloves, coat , vest or whatever fur is used for, take a good look at this item before you make your purchases. Several countries grow pets dogs cats rabbits etc. for their fur. Most of the time the animals are still ALIVE when their coats are removed from them, seen on camera doing so with no regard or regret for the animal. We as a civilized countries SCHOUL NOT ACCEPT these products. With free trade in our mist we accept everything at our borders without any government interuption or inspection. When animals are used for anything that is not normal in our countries, our government should step in and stop any creulty to animals for countries that disregard life as we know it. When this happens less creulty happens. Let your government know, WE ARE AS MAD AS HELL AND WE WILL NOT ACCEPT THIS ANYMORE... REMEMBER ALWAYS LUV/ CARE FOR YOUR DOG/ PETS, THEY WILL ALWAYS LUV U....

This is the first time I have heard of such a thing and I am outraged by just reading everyones discussions on the matter. Im not even going to attempt to watch a video of this kind of abuse, as I would most likely lend up in tears. Why do people do this! its such cruelty, honestly I could easily watch an abuser get hung out like that & feed to the sharks & not feel anything for them. But what do the poor animals do to deserve this. Nothing.....I am so disgusted right now by this topic that Im going to leave it at that....theres just way to much cruelty in the world, it really needs to stop.

I agree. I pray for the world every day. I wish people would change toward God's direction. I think they should stop this. Whale hunting needs to stop too!

That is just sick! People should be allowed to do that! We should get them and feed them to a shark, they wouldnt be so happy then! I dont understand how people can be so cruel! To just sit back and watch as they are doing that to something so pure and beautiful! Do they actually have NO feelings or emotions?!? People like that are whats wrong with this world! I think that is just wrong and should be stopped!

Oh my God! This is really horrible! Why do some people was so cruel to animals? this really disturbed me so badly..I cant imagine this, this should stop! Dogs are best friends, they should not be treated this way..Its really so sad to read something like this..We must love all the animals and dont be cruel to them..

I was actually discussing this on another forum a couple of hours ago. It s a shame that is allowed to happen and basically the sharks don't fare too well either. If the shark is pulled aboard alive they have their fins cut off and are thrown back in the water alive. There they can't swim and will either die on the sea floor or will be torn apart. It is sickening and there are pictures you can look at of the sharks and the dogs used for live bait. The question is if you have the stomach to look at them. Millions of sharks are mutilated every year just for the fins. It is sold to certain countries where it is then sold in restaurants at very steep prices. Some look at it as a food item that brings much prestige to them, especially if they offer it at weddings and to their special guests. It is normally made into a soup but it has no flavor so usually chicken is added. There is no nutritional value and it is doing much damage to the marine ecosystem because it is throwing a fragile balance off in relation with other marine species.

WOW. I agree this is one of the worst possible ways to abuse innocent animals. This is so cruel how can anyone have the hear to do something like this.
