The picture in this link shows the trio of Obama, Professor Gates and Sergeant Crowley leaving the White House after their meeting. Thomas Lifson of the American Thinker says Obama's body language upon leaving this meeting is very revealing. Do you agree with Lifson's analysis? http://www.americanthinker.com/blog/2009/07/obamas_revealing_body_language.html

What I see in the picture is officer Crowley selling after the market! You know, this is the first time I have seen professor Gates upright. What a shame that officer Crowley did not show this same considerate act on the day of his disagreement with professor Gates! The professor has a very noticeable limb that once seen cannot be forgotten!

Drumfelt, you and I were not present to know exactly what happened on the said night. I think the situation would never have led to what it did had the officer showed the same consideration he showed at the White House to the professor, just like I think it never would have escalated had the professor not followed the officer outside. However, I believe we indeed have a major problem with law our law enforcement departments: Their policy of teach those who are capable of reason a lesson, regardless of gender or race, ought to be addressed. There is nothing criminal or wrong with people questioning law enforcement officer! And "attitute" should never be a determining factor as to whether one is fairly treated by law officers or not!

Professor Gate's limp is no excuse for his rude and disorderly behavior the night Sergeant Crowley tried to protect his residence. In the picture, Sergeant Crowley was showing his character as a true public servant who is looking out for people.

Actually Crowley DID show that same level of consideration during the arrest. He actually went inside Gates' home to get him a cane and cuffed his hands in front of him (normally you cuff behind) so he would be able to walk and use his cane appropriately.

I used to think that Bush was the epitomy of Arrogance, but the Big "0" takes the cake. He thinks only of himself and his own comforts and enjoyment. Just think about the new helicopters etc. that he just had to have. Not to mention all the lavish weekend parties and outings he has. He should know that people are paying attention to his body language and the fact that he can only give a coherant speach when he has a teleprompter in front of his face. None of this seems to faze him in the least. He is just like Stalin. The serfs are too stupid to matter and will be easily disposed of eventually. Especially when the Government run health care is put into place and they can euthanize the imperfect, frail and elderly. It is coming folks. That is what it is all about. Why do you think his little helpers are called Czars? Shalom~Adoniah

I think he will be like one-term Carter. Then the conservatives can come in and straighten out the mess he got us into. He can't keep the Oval office forever.

Thank you for posting this link. I missed this article and the pics. It is worth noting that here is a "good friend" of 0bama's and yet 0bama doesn't even take the time to help him down the stairs...instead it is the "racist" cop that offers a hand. It says a lot about ppl's characters when you see this type of thing. ~~AT PEACE WITHIN~~ **STAND STRONG IN YOUR BELIEFS**

Obama is more into himself than he is other people.Maybe this is why most of his ideas so far have failed.

I see three people coming down a flight of stairs one is helping the other because He wants to I guest. I see another who looks as if he would try to help, but it would Hinder the Professor of Harvard more than help him.He has a cane to prop him up or Assist him he might have told the President no thank you for any assistance from him And that the officer was there and had everything under control and that he did not Need human crutches. He might not have asked for help from either one, but it Probably Would have been rude for the professor to say no to the officer's help and Take away the officers highlighted moment of opportunity to shine some in the good Light enjoy his highlighted moment to shine.Besides that was what it was about him And officer gates not the President if he said it a million times it's not about him?

I see the same elements you do, but the body language experts are trained to identify subtleties of human behavior that are no so apparant to the rest of us.
