I have met many people that have had different things that make them happy in life and ways that they enjoy life in. Some of the answers range from having lots of money to being loved. I personally believ that money does not make you happy but only make you sadder since the more money tou have the more things you will have to worry about. I think that loving someone and being loved in return makes you a happy person. I would just like your views on this issue.

I dont think that money makes you sad. I think not knowing hoe to manage it can make you sad, but it definitely wont make you happy either. The one thing that really makes me happy is being able to spend time with my family. No matter what is going on hanging out with family always makes me feel good. Last night I hung out with family I had not seen in 2 years and I had a great time. It made me really happy to be able to see them.

Ok abentiez I agree with your statement that says money does not make you happy but not managing it properly can make you sad. The only problem is that many of us get money and from the time we get it we go and spend it on things that we want and not things that we need and this is what makes you sad since if you waste all your money in the long-run you will not ahve any left to spend on things that you really need.

That is exactly why people need to learn how to manage it. I have money and I dont go out and spend it like crazy on things I dont need. I also live a happy life because I dont have any headaches about money. Not having can also stress you out because it gets hard to put food on the table.

I feel that love is the only way I can understand why we, human beings, are conscious of ourselves. The rest of us is very similar to any animal in the planet. About money, it is just a token that was invented by man to make things easier. But if there is no food, no matter how much money you have, you die of hunger.
On the other hand, through love, one can overcome even hunger. I was very much moved by the end of the book The grapes of Wrath, written by american Nobel prize winner John Steinbeck. There it is shown the sublimation of love.

In life nobody else can make you happy or comfortable or anything; it is not possible. That gift can be given only by yourself to you, nobody can give it to you. And because people go on begging from others, they suffer, because....
And those others are not really doing any harm. They cannot give and you cannot receive it, that is not the way to get it. You go on begging and they go on pretending that they are going to give. They cannot give and you cannot get; then there is frustration and anger, rage, madness and then things....

I don't think that money is everything but it does go a long way in helping you achieve your goals. I've had money and not had money and believe me, I was a lot sadder when I didn't know whether or not I could pay the rent or put food on the table. That being said, the things that make me the happiest in life are things that I find in nature. I'll take a good walk along the ocean's shore or a hike in a beautiful natural spot over a 5 star meal any day.

I agree with you, feeling loved is the greatest thing. Money is just a bonus. We are just being take over by medias that being rich or having lots of money is the way to your happiness. When I went to mexico a few months ago, I went on one of the tours. That tour involved passing by the old Mayan villages. The tour guides was explaining how they lived and theres no video games, tv, nor use money. I mean they receive funds from the villages nearby to maintain their lifestyle but. They usually do trades and you know what they all look civilized. When you approach them there very nice and kind. Everybody seems problem free.
I guess my point is, money does just give you more problems by thinking of where or how to use them. Being loved unconditionally is a blessing. I hope these made sense heheh sorry guys
