What Special Treats Do You And Your Cat Share?

Today my mother brought me a Danish openfaced smoked salmon sandwich, and my cat nearly went crazy trying to get it. I gave him a tiny piece of salmon, so he'd leave me alone long enough to eat the rest of it. She also brought me a loaf of homemade liver pate. I cut off a piece for myself, and again my cat went berserk trying to get it, so I gave him a little ball of pate, so he'd leave me alone long enough to finish eating my liece. If I bring home sushi, he does the same thing, and once when I brought home some chicken from a take-out place, he grabbed a whole chicken leg and ran off with it. Dang cat!! I had to chase him all over the apartment. What little special treats does your cat like?

Well, they hang around hoping for fall out even if we aren't making something they like - well, hope springs eternal... Pong really likes chicken, Star will BEG for tuna, in fact, they all go crazy for tuna... and if we don't give them the tuna water - Scamp gives us dirty looks. The roomie tells of the first time she opened a can of tuna here and dumped the water down the sink - she said Scamp gave her a totally disbelieving look as he looked down the sink after it. I told her that we always gave them the tuna water and she's done so ever since. Now, recently I put down an empty can of tuna and actually got to pet one of the feral kittens because he/she was so into the can.

Keep doing that, and the kitties won't be feral for long. :) Whenever I have a place with meat and stuff on it, if I haven't already licked it clean myself (yes I do that!!) I let the cat have the juice, and a little piece of the meat. As for tuna water, YES! Same with salmon, smoked oysters, sardenes, ground canned meat, anything that involves meat and water. He loves it!!

Most of my cats would fit right in with yours, with the addition of dairy products as well. They like cheese, yogurt, icecream and empty cereal bowls. I have one that is also passionate about Mexican food. Refries, salsa, you name it, she craves it. That cat can also smell me opening a bag of commercial kitty treats. I have one that specifically likes Greenies.

Oh yeah, dairy!! My cat is like me. We can both eat sour cream right out of the container, except he doesn't use a spoon like I di. LOL Mexican food? If I gave my Shakti Mexican food, he'd turn into one great big fart bomb!!

One of my cats goes mad whenever she smells any kind of meat that's just come out of the oven and is being served up, I don't know how she can tell when we are serving up but she always knows . She mainly likes chicken but isn't fussy as long as it's meat. If I don't give her any she'll stick her claws in my leg and moan at my feet until I give in. I don't really feed them anything other than meat or fish as when one of my cats got a urine tract infection I started reading up about cats diets and found out lots of things humans eat are actually toxic to cats, onions for example. So I won't give them any meat that has gravy on it as that usually contains onions, and most shop bought burgers also have onion in them to fill them out.

sounds very funny, you are very like your cat. i don't like any cat at all,i'm a little afraid that there are some louse in there body, and they always make our home very dirty, so i prefer to take care of dog,for food, they prefer to eat bone and rice only, what's a pity, no any so funny things will be happened on meal time. good luck and have a nice day!

I share Yogurt , milk , and Ice Cream with her. My husband hates it because I wont let him give our dogs human food. But its so Rare when I do it that I don't see any harm in it :D
