Is it worth doing a 2nd degree in a different subject?

I have recently got a degree in Forensic Science but now feel i would prefer to have a profession in Psychology. I have also just moved to Australia so don't know anybody and thought doing another course at University would be a good way of getting to know new people. I am now 22 but will be 23 when the course would start. Should I do it?

I think if you have enough of spare time an you really enjoy studying, then you should. Indeed, I'm planning to get my second degree, although I haven't chosen the field of science yet.

if you really like the subject i think you can think to take it. it would help you to open your mind. from what you said i think you are still very young, you should try to experience different subjects if you have the chance. Now learning is a continuos activity in our whole life. your interest will change beyond your imagination. so if you try many choices and at last find what you like most. it's very worthy to do. However you better to focus on the advanced development of the subject you are involved. I mean from the start you should be sure you are learning the useful skill and knowledge instead of old and not useful things.
