Is your best friend a male or female?

For me, my best friend is a guy. I have know him for a few years now and is the only person I can trust for anything. We know each other so well and care deeply about each other's problems. I don't see him as much as I would like, but whenever I do we could spend hours in silence and understand our problems. I am so glad I have him in my life. My best friends were always girls, but through the years I found that my male friends were more trusting than my female friends. So how about you?
