Why Do we always say"heads up" when we actually duck?

lol yeah it is confusing but when people say "heads up" they mean watch out.

Yeah I know what you mean but also depends what " heads up" mean at the moment, otherwise duck down because you are gone to be hit!but any way I don't think this is the right answer somehow.
