Pay per click or Pay per impression which is advertisers favorite?

Hi All,
I'm trying to find out what type of advertising people prefer: Pay Per Click or CPM.
I want to find out because I believe that PPC is becoming more expensive and most of the links are click frauds. What do you think?

i would prefer ppc. but its true tat bcoz ppc sites are getting popular people seem to take this oppurcuinty to scam people
