I am replying an year after the event. I think the manner in which Lescott left Everton was not great. But eventually he wanted to move to a bigger club and hence the move was pretty much on. But, now in the Man City team he might struggle to keep his place and even a couple of poor performances might mean that he might be relegated to the bench.
So it still needs to be seen how he copes with this.
Cheers!

I think he should stay at Everton although now he has shown interest in the move may cause a few issues. The thing is he is an important player for Everton, Everton as a team are constantly improving and so he would be wise to continue to develop his game in the security of Everton. If he did go to Man City he would have a season where the team try to gel and he may struggle to adapt to a different style with a lot of big names and big egos.
For me he is still young and hasn't reached his peak yet so should concentrate on developing his game/career rather than chasing the big money.
