I am really very confused about Twitter. I can't understand how they work. Every time I get an email saying some so and so is following you on Twitter. What is the meaning of this? Can somebody explain?

When someone is following you on Twitter, it means they are like your Twitter friend. They will have the chance to read anything you post on the site and if you follow them back, you'll get a chance to read anything they post. A lot of people on Twitter will choose not to follow you if you don't follow them back...just something to consider : ) Have a great day!

Well you don't have to follow them, but I guess it helps...at least if you want people to read what you post.

most people just post whatever they are doing that day or what they have already done.

Twitter is just like a texting website, where you can build up a network of friends with similar goals and aspirations to yourself and send messages of your latest achievements and business programs. Some of them, if they are interested may join as your referral, or buy a product from your blog or website if you have one. But it's important not to use it to just sell products all the time. People respond to friendly people better than salespeople. - Derek
