Ad blocking plug in for Google Chrome, do you know any?

Hi, Now that I am using Google chrome I would like to find a plug in or add on that blocks advertisements. In Firefox I used Adblock plus but went to their site and it is not compatible with Google Chrome. Do you know any site where I can get this plug in or any other interesting plug in for Google Chrome? Thanks!

Thanks for the explanation, I will try that next week as now I am a bit busy with fixing my gps application.
